Fire crews gain containment on Pauba Fire near Temecula, evacuation warnings lifted

According to reports, firefighters on Saturday morning gained further control over the "Pauba Fire" that prompted evacuation orders and sent plumes of smoke into the skies over the Temecula region on Friday. Overnight, firefighters gained 50% containment on the fire, which burned 101 acres. According to Cal Fire and the Riverside County Fire Department, evacuation warnings have been lifted and Pauba Road was reopened later on.
